Doing additive blending with box drawing characters & 4bit ANSI colors (in the terminal) is a real headf*ck! This shoulda been muuuch easier, but as so often the case, the most trivial seeming issues are the hardest to crack...Still need to add blend rules for more color combos, then this will be part of https://thi.ng/text-canvas. The visualization is of four https://thi.ng/ramp timeline channels shown as superimposed area plots, using only Unicode box drawing characters and custom additive color blending logic... Each plot/channel is a cubic hermite spline curve...#DataViz #Plot #ASCIIArt #ANSI #Colors #TextMode #Terminal #TUI #ThingUmbrella (Edit: fixed link)
