A feline alien with a backpack stands at the edge of a cliff overlooking a desert, and shields their eyes as they look at the ruins of a domed city and the road leading into it. The buildings within the domed city have crumbled, but the dome itself is untouched. The road into the city appears to have been bombed out, with rubble and shrapnel scattered all over. Next to the feline alien, a droid on tank treads with an antenna sticking out of the top silently records data. The city, alien and droid are all lit by the rising sun, leaving them in shadow from the viewer's perspective except for the edges.

A few days ago, I entered this #ANSIArt piece, "Surveyor", into @party 2024's graphics compo. Yesterday, despite being folded in with two pieces of 3D art, it placed 1st by a narrow margin. Thank you, #AtParty, for helping to keep the #demoscene spirit alive in the United States!#Art #SciFiArt #FurryArt #SciFi #Furry #MastoArt
