My favorite example of a front-end for a BBS game is Thieves' Guild for the Atari ST.The "Thieves' Guild Emulator" added amazing pixel art, voice samples, and sound effects to an otherwise-plain-text fantasy adventure game.I loved this game so much, I took a deep dive into it, interviewed its creators, recovered its source code and posted it on GitHub!https://breakintochat.com/blog/2020/09/15/thieves-guild-memories/(6/6)#bbs #retrocomputing #vintagecomputing #retrogaming #gamedev #computerhistory #textmode #atari #atarist
