Advent of code 2023 day 10 - part 1 Hardest part of it was understanding the puzzle right, at the beginning I was overcomplicating things because I thought of possible dead ends, had a hard time to distinguish between the the characters used for different pipe tiles and tried two do "too much at once". What really helped for me was to visualise the whole thing with box drawing ascii characters, even found a very neat trick to animate it right in the terminal.
