A near-black card. The word "letterform" is set in two lines of large italic serif, "letter" above "form", and every letter is drawn entirely out of small ASCII characters. The character density falls away from left to right, dense and bright on the left, thinning to sparse marks on the right. Small text at the top right reads "turn an image into type". A hairline rule runs across the bottom, with kharnaa.com/playground/letterform on the left and PNG, SVG, TEXT on the right.

Drop an image into Letterform and it comes back built out of characters. An ASCII ramp, solid blocks, or the word "letterform" repeated until the shape holds.PN…

Linux terminal window with fastfetch's CLI software's output. On the left side, there's my version of Linux Mint logo in ASCII art, on the right side is my PC's stats and configured ANSI colors.

I fixed the Linux Mint ASCII logo for fastfetch, possibly coming in the next release. Never done ASCII before. #ASCII #ASCIIart #typography #textmode

Picture is a mockup of a basic platformer featuring characters of 10humps font as graphics. It suggest features like asterisks characters being spikes, double quote being bridges, X being ladders, colon being walls and floor, plus sign as collectible. Special characters are made for player and a few monsters.

I think I'll try to make a little game as the specimen of my new font. For now, I think I'll name it "10humps" but I'm not sure. Each glyph design is based on a …

An ASCII, black on white textmode art piece featuring a landscape like representation of a castle that looks like a series of basaltic columns. The three central columns rise above the rest and are topped by three different kinds of towers and medival style flowing flags and banners. On the foreground we can see a small human figure to signify the vast scale of the structure. There are two clouds and a sun in the sky and some rocks and grass on the ground. The ASCII piece is sourrounded by a light blue frame.

BASALTIC CASTLE Probably, my last textmode piece of 2024, a reflection of what I've learned this year concerning the medium and an exploration of isometric pers…
